BITTA is a journal of fragments, field notes, and slow ideas. A place to think aloud about design, culture, human behaviour, and the shifting patterns that shape us.
Why this journal exists
In a landscape crowded with noise, BITTA exists as the opposite: a quiet, reflective space for ideas that take time. Ideas that live between disciplines, between intuition and expertise, between the human hand and emerging technologies.
These are thoughts that don’t always fit neatly into a pitch deck, a client presentation, or an algorithmic feed.
Here, they can just breathe.
Who is behind this
BITTA is curated by Troy Barbitta. Creative Director, designer, strategist, and founder of Barbitta Studio.
After two decades working across branding, design systems, hospitality, property, and culture, this journal became a way to document the fragments that sit behind the work: the observations, the questions, the patterns, the experiments.
What you’ll find here
Fragments
Thoughts, essays, ideas in motion.
This is where we think aloud…in essays, visuals, and meditations on branding, culture, and the small patterns that shape the world.
Voices
Perspectives from the people who move culture.
Artists, directors, designers and founders. Reflections on their ideas, offering insight into the minds shaping creativity.
Field Notes
Loose fragments. Fleeting ideas. Things noticed.
Collected pieces from the in-between. A surface. A code experiment. A quote. These are moments that often go unseen but mean something.
